Welcome to the WFAeC Good Airfield Guide

This airfield guide takes over where the 'conventional' guides finish, telling you the really important information about the facillities you might expect on your next trip to a new airfield. The Guide is categorised by country, and each entry has been written by a microlight pilot with direct experience of visiting the airfield.

Each report includes an overall 'WFAeC rating', and some entries include a small thumbnail showing the general location too. Although the guide is not a flight planning tool, and so does not contain airfield information, many entries do contain links to further information - usually the resident flying club.

The guide is written by pilots for other pilots. If you have some interesting or helpful comments on an airfield (in the UK or abroad) please send them to us. It would be helpful if you could include the ICAO code, if it has one, and your rating out of 10 points as well.

To contribute just send an e-mail to goddin@btinternet.com - we will ensure that it is added to the database.
